Since I'm going on almost 10 years here, and I find myself coming back slowly more and more, I figured it was about time I write a proper bio of sorts.

Hello, my name is Stuart and I am a student artist who is almost done with school!

Going to school for a fine arts degree I have learned, I enjoy the fine arts from a spectator's point of view, and from the point of view of an art historian, but the actual creation of "fine arts" interests me very little (and the exclusionary and stuffy atmosphere of the "fine art" world grates on my nerves).

I'm financing my dream of becoming an art teacher by working in coffee, which I cannot recommend since I'm one slip up away from becoming a career barista. As such, I am incredibly over-caffeinated.

My true passion lies in illustration, cats, and coffee of course. And of course, magical girl anime and themes. I have become yet another who has fallen victim to the ancient curse of wanting to create their own magical girl comic without the drive to do so.

I really doubt that anyone even reads these anymore, but deviantART was such an important thing for me when I was still in high school, I just wanted to do it some justice. Although the platform seems to have died down somewhat, I wish to rekindle the artistic drive that a full time job and full time school have killed. DeviantART was a magical place for me once upon a time, and I always felt inspired.
